Description: 1920s Western Electric and American Telephone & Telegraph candlestick phone with the original ringbox. Works! The phone was rewired for modern use (an easy plug-in to a standard phone jack) and re-enameled sometime in the 1980s or early 1990s. The re-lacquer job was excellent, but unfortunately it covered over the brass banana tag, which is barely legible ("Western Electric"). The ringbox gives a resounding ding-a-ling. Just plug it in and do your best Bogey or Torchy Blane. Well-packed in a large box: 16" x 12 1/4" x 7". Fairly heavy. PRIORITY MAIL or PRIORITY EXPRESS MAIL strongly advised.
