2 New DIY KITS For 2SA798 2SA979 Dual Transistors Replacement Boards You Build

Description: Up for sale here is this set of 2 new mini circuit boards and 2 tiny SMD dual transistors. You can put these together to make 10 brand new replacements for the 2SA798 or 2SA979 dual transistors. The 2SA798 and 2SA979 frequently go bad in vintage equipment, and can cause you to have high DC offset, crackling, and more problems. The original dual transistors have been discontinued for decades, and are difficult to find, but luckily some fine folks on Audiokarma designed a replacement for it. This listing is for 2 boards and 2 SMD dual transistors, which allows you to build 2 2SA798/2SA979 replacements. All you have to do is carefully solder one dual transistor to each board, then solder some wire bits to the row of holes so you can attach it to your receiver or amplifier. I use cut-off diode legs for it, but resistor wires, capacitor legs, or thin wires will work fine too. You will need to provide the wires. Assembling these is simple, but it's not that easy, and if you do not have experience working with SMD (surface-mount) parts this may not go well for you. The new dual transistors are really tiny! I use a very fine-point soldering iron, very thin solder, and a steady hand, though a hot-air station would work great as well. Each board is 12.4mm x 10.4mm and is 3mm thick. The last two pictures show what these look like fully assembled, but this listing is just for what's in picture 1--2 boards and 2 tiny dual transistors.
