Produced from 1992 to 2007, this hand hammered cymbal's condition would be described as used, enjoyed and cared for but not in immaculate condition. There are no cracks or keyholing but the edge has a few nicks and flea bites and this cymbal does have a sight keyhole. The ink is still somewhat present with the "HH Classic Ride" ink being almost fully faded. This cymbal has signs of use such as fingerprints, stick marks, staining and tarnish. You could clean it, if that's your thing, but I would let the acquired patina stick around and do its thing! As for the sound, this cymbal has a very musical & defined sound and has a smooth sustain which makes it pretty crashable. The bell possesses a strong, cutting ping which cuts through the mix nicely but forcibly. If you haven't, check out the video at the top of this listing. This cymbal weighs a healthy 2064 grams.
