Description: 8 ROOTED 8”-15” Peppermint Plants, Organic Living mint plants Live plant starts - You will receive 8 Rooted Peppermint plants, as seen in the photos, all of which will measure anywhere in between 8 inches to 15 inches in lengths. - Plant upon arrival. If the plants are wilted, place their roots in water to rehydrate them before planting. They can be kept in water indefinitely, as long as you change the water every few days. CARE - Plant in nutrient rich soil, and place them in the shade to start out, and water frequently so that the soil remains consistently moist, until they acclimate and establish their roots in the new soil. Then they can be placed in full sun, if desired and watered less frequently. * Since Peppermint is a fast and aggressive grower, it’s advised to plant it in a container/pot. ABOUT - Peppermint is easy to grow and does well in partial shade or full sun. - There’s virtually no maintenance involved with growing it. Just make sure to water it, especially in the warmer months. - The smell of peppermint plants will deter pesky insects such as ants, mosquitos, flies, etc. The fact that mint is a natural bug-repellant is a huge benefit for any gardener or homeowner. - It attracts beneficial pollinators, like butterflies, bees, and moths that aid in plant and flower reproduction and a thriving ecosystem. - Peppermint has many medicinal properties. It’s a great digestive aid for an upset stomach, and it can also be used as an essential oil for headaches. - It can either be grown indoors or outdoors, in-ground or in containers. Many gardeners like the versatility of growing mint in containers because it contains their tendency to spread. P PACKAGING & UNWRAPPING: - Please make sure you unwrap your Peppermint plants as soon as you receive them. They will be wrapped in plastic and secured with tape, so I suggest using something sharp, like a box cutter to gently slice through the tape. Some leaf loss/damage may occur. - To keep shipping costs low, I bundle the plants and place their base roots in a plastic bag filled with some wet soil, which is then secured tightly with tape. Then, I wet the leaves with water, and I wrap them in plastic, which I secure with tape. After that, I package them in a cardboard box that I tailor make to fit around the wrapped plant bundle. - ECO-FRIENDLY: I USE RECYCLED PACKAGING FOR ALL OF MY PLANT ORDERS. *** I do everything within my power to GUARANTEE LIVING PLANTS ON ARRIVAL. However, once in a while, the USPS will significantly delay a delivery or mishandle packages, which may lead the plants to arrive in poor condition. If the plants are dead upon arrival, or severely damaged, please contact me within a few hours of delivery, and send me a clear picture(s) of the plants, and I will offer you the choice of either a full refund or a free replacement.
