Description: ANTIQUE HOLLOW BARREL KEY ROLL TOP DESK KEY CABINET KEY DRAWER KEY EARLY 1900's VERY NICE! 84B BRASS Very rare antique hollow barrel key from early 1900's. This is a common key-way that fits many vintage / antique desks, roll top desks, drawers, china cabinets, buffets, dressers, wardrobes and trunks. Measures about 2 1/2" long. The barrel measures 5mm wide (3/16"). The front of the key-the barrel AND bit that fits into the lock is 11mm (7/16") high. The reference books state this is key # 84B. Made in the USA. The material used is beautiful brass plated malleable iron. There are tons of cheap reproductions of this key all over the internet. Not reproductions, "Not like" or "the style of" or "copied from original" or "official authorized reproduction". These are the real deal! These were part of enormous Dallas locksmith collection with items dating back to the Civil War. Please look carefully at the pics. The pics are an important part of the description.
