Description: 2007 SCI Convention Thoroughbred Character lidded stein. This 13" tall stein was made in Germany by Albert Stahl for the SCI (Stein Collectors International) convention. The 2007 convention was held in Louisville, KY. Features a smiling thoroughbred horse seated on a beer keg which is crawling with hops vines. Holding a frothing stein of beer and a radish, a common German beer accoutrement. Wearing lederhosen with edelweiss decoration. Horses tail makes up the handle. Horseshoe shaped thumblift. Marked "Limited Edition 104 of 250 Pieces" with the Stahl logo on the back side of the keg. Amazing lithophane featuring the 1978 Triple Crown Winner, Affirmed. Individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. This one is numbered 104 of 250. Excellent condition.
