Description: This auction is for Challengers of the Unknown issue 9 from 1959 in VG+ condition. This is an oldie, but a goodie. The 1950’s and 60’s were filled with Science Fiction comics and DC was great at it. This series features a group of adventurers who would all wear the same outfit. They predated the Fantastic Four by a few years and it’s believed that the Fantastic Four was inspired by these guys! The interior pages are better than Off-White (see pictures). They look great. The cover at first glance looks great, there are some significant spine stress marks as well as creases on the right. The top of the book has a red ink mark that goes through all of the pages. The book is still completely attached with no clipped coupons, writings or missing pages! A really nice book for any collector to finish their run of this now classic comic book title.
