Controller Refurbishing Includes: Take controller body apart Clean all plastic components Replace thumb caps as needed (cosmetic part) Replace worn joysticks as needed (solder part) Replace vibration motors as needed (solder part) Replace broken/torn controller wire (solder part, comes with new break away cable as well)Testing & Certification Process: Controller is detected by console All buttons, triggers and other functions are functional Cable is tested during game play to make sure no breaks were missed Other Notes to the buyer: During the refurbishing process, the sticker on the back of the controller needs to be removed. As a result, some controllers may not come with the back sticker. We understand to some collectors this may be important. We will not accept returns for the controller unless they are defective. If the thumb caps need to be replaced, after market ones may be used that more closely resembe the S Style controller thumb caps. Currently, no one is making original Duke style thumbcaps.
